Christians. Christians die for us and for others.
Christians are the inheritors of Christ's sacrifice on the cross, not simply by being human but by choice. Christians not only accept the benefit of His death on the cross for their sins, they also take up the cross themselves for their neighbors.
This is not to say that Christ's death was only to the benefit of Christians, only their inheritance, that is another question. But it is the example Christians seek to follow.
